Pregnancy Decision Aid – A Patient’s Story

Here is an actual patient story – a woman that used the Decision Aid.

Jill (fictitious name) had always been sure that she never wanted children. But one day, she found herself staring at a positive pregnancy test. Panic set in as she contemplated her options. She didn’t have the financial stability or emotional ability to raise a child. But the idea of terminating the pregnancy left her feeling conflicted. That’s when she decided to visit CAPS Pregnancy + Medical Clinics, a clinic she had heard of that provided Decision Aids for women facing unplanned pregnancies.

Jill took the Decision Aid home and spent hours poring over it. She talked to friends and family members. As she worked her way through the Decision Aid, she began to feel more and more confident in her final decision. She was grateful for the guidance and support provided by CAPS, and for the Decision Aid that had helped her to make the most difficult decision of her life.

No matter what choice you make, CAPS will be there for you before, during, and after your pregnancy.
